Movie outing with family!

十月圍城 Bodyguards and Assassins

Went out with family to watch this movie. It was great! ha! alright shall give a brief intro to this movie to ppl who read my blog. LOL! Sun Yat Sen who is the Father of Modern China, came to Hong Kong from exile to carry out a meeting with the leaders of the provinces of China which were involved in the Revolution in Oct 1905. However, the Qing Empress Cixi gave an order to assassinate Sun as the Revolution was an attempt to overthrow the Qing Empire. In order to allow Sun to successfully reach Hong Kong and carry out the meeting, many followers as well as people who did not even know who they were protecting for, sacrificed themselves. In the end, many people died from the assassination, however, the meeting was a success and eventually after 6 years, there were many uprisings in the provinces occuring at the same time(the plot strategised at the meeting) and on 10th Oct 1911 (for those who took History should know this is a.k.a. the Double Tenth), the ineffcient and corrupted Qing Empire fell.

The play that we watched!

Merry merry christmas!!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Just came back from Cheryl's house. Yesterday went to eat at Siam Kitchen with Zheng Yee, Cheryl, Carmel, Angeline, Zhao Peng, Yichun, Safwan then we head to watch a play at Singapore Indoor Stadium for free (credits to ZP and Mel) ha! Saw Siew Huai and her boyfriend. The Play was pretty cool and the performers were awesome! Enjoyed myself totally! After the play, mel headed home and yichun sent her home after our mini countdown to Christmas..LOL! Rest of us went to play pool at Queensway. Then Cheryl's mum fetched us to Cheryl's house and prepared food for us to eat. Nice hor? Went on to play Left 4 Dead on Cheryl's computer. Damn fun! Addicted to it!





Going out later with family to watch Body Guards and Assassins. Hope it will be nice movie! Alright bye guys!

Arggg...BORED! lol. Soon soon, i will keep myself occuiped. Wanting to go for 2-Star kayaking course so trying to ask around who wants to accompany me. LOL! Looking forward to 4F chalet which is on 28-30 Dec and I can finally see my old friends. HA!

Prom tonight but i din go..LOL.

now friends having prom but i din go la. LOL. anw, played basketball with scouts for 3.5 hrs. Fierce. gd exercise though. Then went out with Hpyo, Ryan, Kok Soon and Meixian sort of a mini TT outing. LOL! Dennis went out with gf instead of joining. Dennis Li! got gf ignore friends already. LOL! Had Pizza Hut and pool for an hour then home sweet home.

Life's pretty bored for me now. But i got a tuition job which is probably starting in Jan or late Dec. But life now is really... ha! still got 5 months! Arggg!

Went out to exercise today! Like FINALLY!

Went out with Choon Lian,Eng Tuan, Shang Xuan, Zhi Long, Joshua, Wen Rong and Bin Ming to play badminton. LOL. For around 2 hours and it was crazy. Eng Tuan is the man, he's just too good. lol. Good exercise!

I have been thinking alot lately. Will 2SA9 just split up into cliques after A Levels and not meet up as a class again? I want to our class to come together again and have fun! Hint* Hint* for an outing soon! HA!

As for table tennis, I will go back training soon, preferably next week. I want to start an alumni for table tennis hopefully. Great aspiration though. LOL.

A Level IS OVER!

Oh man... Finally it is over! Had my last paper today and it was fine I guess. HA! 2 years of hard work... Went out with JRL in the evening at Vivocity and it was fun. I guess everyone's a joke! HA! But I got a problem now after As, that is i got nothing to do!!! Gotta to find a job soon preferably giving tuition. So anyone got any offer? HA!

Tired...

It was exactly one year after my Promos and I still cannot believe that one year has gone. It just happened too quickly. HA! Ching-Ling is one-year old and I hope that Ching-lets still remember all the happiness we had during the CCAAB Camp 08. It was definitely a memorable one.

Less than 1 month to A Levels and it is really terrifying. All the fears and worries. Though I know my family, teachers and friends will always there to support me, I still feel inadequate. I guess the emptiness came from within myself. I gotta to be more confident and think positively. LOL! There are many things to be done after A Levels such as NS, shopping, K-Boxing, meet-up with friends and many more. I have not done all these for a very long time. I'm tired.....

But I guess I just have to rest for a while before I start to cheong again! All the best guys! May not be updating until after A Levels! LOL! Good luck to people taking the PSLE, O Levels and A Levels! Jiayou!

Life has been stressful for most of us since most students are busy preparing their Final Term and some Final Year Examination. Even though things can get really nasty as we are trying to focus on our studies during this period of time, but I guess we just have to tide over this. It's our final lap. After this exam, we will get the freedom we have long wanted (For O and A Level takers this year). I mean it maybe torturing now but endure guys! It's ending! Watched abit of F1 Race just now and Ham won! LOL! HAPPY! (Being random here)

I will be attending Honours' Night 2009 this coming Wed to get my Merit award. it's 25 bucks... I mean I have to pay 25 dollars to get this award and buffet. Joke. We are awarded to recognise our service and achievement but yet we have to pay for the buffet. Haiz... Things get screwed up sometimes I guess.

I hope that each and everyone in 2SA9'09 can achieve their desired A Level results next year. Even though we had come from diff sec schs, have diff views on things and have diff personalities, it's fate that brought us together as SA9! So no matter what, we will do much better than Prelims and show Madam that we can do it! To Kam and Sylvia, all the best for Promos! U can do it!

got back some results and was terribly disappointed! Especially my GP which I put in quite a lot of hard work. Haiz... What to do? Prelims is already OVER! The only time that I can prove to myself that I can achieve my utimate aim is the A Levels and yes, to all my classmates and friends: Good Luck to you guys for A Levels! It's the final lap! Had my final paper today for Prelims. A sign of relief? Yeah it definitely is. But A Level is everyone's final destination thus i guess we gotta to work super hard to cross that end-point. I do not pin too much hope on my prelim results cos I do not know for sure if i am going to do well. If it is good, it will definitely be a good morale booster for me as I'm gearing up for the As. If it is bad, it will be saddening of cos but I can't let it affect me and my preparation for the A Level. Like what Prash told me the other day before Prelim, he said, "Stress is like a rocking chair, it can shake and rock you but it cannot move you anywhere." He is trying to say that stress can be a good motivation for you but too much of it is not good too and dun let stress control you. You should control stress instead. Well-said.

Like what Yixian told us juz now, it's just 69 days to A Level. yea 69 DAYS! It may seem long but in fact it is drawing near. Take it with an open heart? Yeah we have to. The moment I stepped into ACJC last year, I told myself that I gotta to leave this school with good A Level results and I believe I can, with all my hard work and effort. I will never forget what Kok told me that impossible is nothing if you have the heart to do it.

Hey guys I am here to blog again after 1 month. Was having prelims thus I have no time to blog..LOL! Prelims ah...Dunno what to say..Difficult? Tough? But I must say I have done my best. Going to do my very best in A Levels! I got 1 more paper to go, Physics Paper 1. These past few weeks were very tiring I must say, one of the worst in my life. Was busy preparing my Prelims and hardcore studying everyday is really no joke. AND AND AND Happy Belated Birthday to Zheng Yee and Carmel! HAHA!

I'm lost...

School has reopened today..Got back all my papers. Results? Quite disappointing I guess. Wanted to do well so badly.. Spent so much effort trying to strive for the best result but this time... Sometimes I wonder why cant effort be directly proportional to results. It is for most people but not quite true for me. Feel like giving up? Yeah I do have this feeling. Giving up everything I have held on for so long, abandoning the visions and goals that I have set for myself since the beginning of last year but I just cant do it. Cant bear to do so... I do not wish to let those who care for me down. But I have let myself down...

Life is like a roller coaster but I don't know climb up when I'm at the downside. I need to talk...

Just another day?

I'm officially out from my usual busy schedule since CCAs' activities have come to an end. For me, table tennis: new exco has been elected and I hope that they can continue to strive for Top 4 position next year and do the school proud. Scouts: Stepped up as a Rover. For this past year as a venture under Yong Kok, I have learnt a lot from him be it hard skills or soft skills. Made wonderful friends from both CCAs. My Table Tennis Ex-Co 08/09 which had given me the support which I needed during the period leading up to season. My teammates which had tolerated my nonsense and scoldings. My beloved ventures who had listened to my crap during ex-co meetings and complaints during unit events etc. I will like to say a big thank you to you guys who have made a difference in my life. And for now, studying is the most important thing to do...LOL! A Level is coming up and no time to slack already! LOL! All the way guys and gd luck!

Hey guys I'm back from Venture camp...It was awesome! But of cos damn tiring...First day we went to Admiralty Park (right outside Republic Polytechnic) HAHA! Pitched a tent on top of a small hill and slept there for the first night. Second day Yong Kok came to join us and brought us to kayaking..LOL! damn tiring...20km.. But the waters and scenery were cool. Big ships and strong winds. Kayaked from SAF Sembawang Yacht Club to another island then on our way back we tried to "sailing" by erecting the kitchen canvas..LOL. It sort of succeeded as we sailed from one end of the island to the other..LOL! YK, Johning and Weichuan are damn gd at kayaking as three of them were from Sea Scouts..LOL. We, the land scouts DIED..LOL. Then we kayaked to Sembawang Park to spend our second night there. Pitched a tent under some trees, took a bath, had dinner, done sentry duty then sleep.. Third day, went back to Sarimbun Scout Camp. Showed the scouts and junior ventures how a natural shelter and trap are constructed while the scouts were having their backwoodmen. HA. Had campfire at night then Rover Investiture when the senior ventures step up to Rovers. Yeah so now I'm a Rover..LOL! More pictures will be uploaded when YK and HL post them on facebook.

Project Simple Love Pre-Camp

Came back from the pre-camp yesterday...Quite tired...Did a number of things..Going around AMK area, cycling to check the route, played some games and got to know some wonderful friends a.k.a the other committee memebers of this project. They are from JJC who are introduced to me by Zhao Peng. HA. As for facilitators, majority are from JJC and 4 are from PJC. Hope that the camp will run well and successfully! The camp is from 13th June to 15th June.

Mid Year's Down Prelims NEXT!!

YEAH finally it's over... Had Chemistry paper just now and dunno if can score...Quite tricky and tedious and some dunno how to do..But I have done my best.. Did my preparation work and ya.. Yesterday had Maths and Econs.. Maths I think a lot of ppl will score cos a lot of questions came out from the package we did. LOL! Econs damn tiring.. 3 essays 1 shot.. First time in JC! Drop dead after the paper..LOL Yeah.

Prelims in 2 months' time? No time to slack seriously.. Dun wish to slack either. June got quite a number of things to do..Hike, camp and study..LOL!

One word: TIRED!

Heyya Guys!

Hey guys, liuliu is here to blog again after 1224325443546456 days! LOL. The past week was quite a hectic to me as we got to prepare for our tests and exams. HA. Sports Update: Volleyball girls entered Semis, Squash Boys and Rugby went into finals and Bowling Boys got 1st Runner up and girls got CHAMPION! LOL. Soccer won TPJC and entered Semis. Almost all the sports got into top 4 except us. What a pity... A mixture of feelings arose in my mind when all these results appeared during assembly. Happy and abit of sadness... Haiz...

Never mind..LOL.. Yesterday went out to study with Zheng Yee, Yichun and Carmel. Zheng Yee, the so-called organiser was late for like 2.5 hours? LOL! JOKE! Went home at 8 plus. Studied until super tired...

Exams in less than 3 weeks?? Yeah trying to complete my revision asap. I want to do well in Mid Years! A stepping stone to As!

Soccer won! Woohoo!

Hey thanks guys for cheering me up! Greatly appreciated! I ran yesterday to train my 2.4km run.. Not going to fail next Monday le! HA

Today went MJC with Weiyuan, Daniel and Beng Hong to support the AC soccer team. They were up against the defending champion MJC. We won with an eventual score of 2-1. With some wonderful passes from Wycliffe(though I hate to admit it), Yong Geng and Adam scored!! Damn happy for them! Go AC Soccer! They will be up against TPJC next. They have to win them in order to proceed to the Semis. All the best!

Today had my individuals. Lost 0-3 to Nigie from RJC. Though I knew that I had done my best and he is really damn good, I still feel miserable. This misery cannot be decribed through mere words.. This probably marks the end of my table tennis "career" ever since I started it when I was in Sec 1. I would probably miss it seriously. Table Tennis has definitely left a mark in my heart and will not stop playing. Of course that will be after A Levels. HAHA! Yeah

To Florence: Happy to have you as the Captain though u always piss me off.HA. All the best for A Level and dun look down on yourself. Always believe that someone will be there for you whenever you are down.

To Yong Quan: Dude thanks for teaching some skills which I really need to maintain or even improve my standard for table tennis.

To Beng Hong: Always enjoy going home with you while talking about stuff regarding table tennis.

To the rest of the team: Thanks guys for tolerating my nonsense whenever I was in bad mood. Really happy to have you guys as my teammates and I will definitely not forget you guys! All the way!

Table Tennis aside, YES STUDIES! Have to start my hardcore studying from tomorrow onwards! Have to cheong for A Level! Will not let my parents, teachers, friends and myself down again!

After the match, Suann,Beng, Flo and I went to eat Pizza Hut! I was treated as a rubbish bin as whatever food these girls could not finish, I was given the "privilege" to eat. LOL. Talked a lot over our dinner. Girls' talk but I just joined in. LOL. Tmr going to train with Florence.

Bitter lost

Hey guys I am back to blog. Yeah guys won 3-2 against SRJC! Matt and Yun Zhang u guys rox! Junyang u must jiayou too!! HA. We put our newest players in to let them experience what competition was like and they did us proud! YEAH!

Girls went into 2nd round which is top 6. Lost to HCI on Tuesday and today they faced TJC which was the crucial match. Unfortunately they lost 3-2. To Florence: Dun give up! U did well! To the rest of the team: You girls are great! Did super well today. We were the underdogs and you had shown them that we are better than they thought! All the best! The girls lost super narrowly today! Everyone thought we were confirmed a place in the top 4 cos Florence was leading 2-0 at first and the 3rd set she was leading 10-8 which was one more point to top 4! But she lost. The pressure was too great for her too. Gd job Flo. U did great! No one will blame you! Dun nid to feel sorry. All the best ACTT'09

It's over...

Lost to NYJC with a score of 4-1. Disappointed of course..2 years of hard work.. BUT I was super proud of my team yesterday because they put up a GOOD fight..We had displayed the AC spirit and did not give in to our opponents who were more superior in terms of skills. Our match lasted for a long 2 hours and 15 minutes. Longest match of the day in the hall. Everyone including all the coaches, umpires and other school players came and watch our match.

Here's the breakdown of the score:
ACJC : NYJC
1st Single: 0 3
1st Double: 2 3
2nd Single: 3 1
2nd Double: 2 3
3rd Single: 2 3


Yeah we lost narrowly.. We would have won 4-1 if we won those matches with a 3-2. Everyone played their best yesterday and I could see all the sweat and the desire to win spirit coming out from each and everyone. NYJC was too strong for us but we did not give up and put up a good fight against them. This kind of tenacity has already made us the true winners. It does not matter if you win or not but it does matter whether you put in your 101%. AC A Div Boys 2009, you guys really make me proud! All the way Team ACTT 2010!

For the girls, they won 5-0 straight against AJC. Tmr they are facing JJC. This match will depend whether they are qualified for the second round. All the way girls!

I would like to thank our coach too for their valuable advices!

Tmr the boys' team will be playing against SRJC and we are going to win them no matter what! I will still be going for training after the season because I am training for my individuals! HAHA.. Ya wish me lots of lucks guys! Okay gtg now to study. BYE!!

Hey guys today we played like crap like seriously..Lost 5-0 to Hwa Chong and girls lost 5-0 to RI..
I hope we can get our form back when we play against NYJC..Our last hope seriously..It's tough I know but let me tell you, WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE NOW! WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE REST OF THE GAMES NO MATTER WHAT!! Tomorrow going to train like siao!

HAHA..Reached at 3a.m and kanna scolding from Mum.. Haiz... Then slept for 4 hours b4 going for training at 8am..LOL..Damn tired while having training..Somemore LAST training before competition..HAHAH.. Training was fruitful la..Trained for 4 hours then waited for Kannan..Beng and Kannan really damn fierce...LOL..Quarrelling all the way till Tiong Bahru Plaza..lol.. Chill lax!

Went library to study with Zhao Peng today at Bukit Merah Mac and library. HA.. He is very hardworking! LOL.. Should learn more from him huh..Ha.. Ya and here I am to blog. So excited now! Next week..The week of judgement! 1 year of hard work whether or not will be paid off will show next week...

Now currently relaxing after training with Beng Hong for almost 3 hours after Chem paper. Later still have have to go out train again at Henderson CC.. Tired sia.. But for Nationals la! Not goin to give up! HAHA..

Yesterday my earning was pathetic...Like seriously.. Walked whole day at Bukit Timah and the worst of all was that more than 60% of the houses' owners were not at home cos they were still working... Saw more maids opening the doors than last year..Sian... Did 1 day of jobweek already want to die le..LOL!! It was quite memorable though cos it was my last jobweek contribution to Drgaon Scouts as u guys know I will not continue scouting next year..Yup..HAHA!!

Attended Scout Instructorship on Friday and my 2 proficiency badges as shown from the pictures! Happy!!! HAHA... The course was said by the course instructor was dry..But I met some friends from other schools too.. Completed the course at last...Though I am not goin for AIC.. Hoping to get at least 4 badges before I step down.. Yup!! Friday doing cook with Shang Xuan! Hope I can pass.. Tmr got TT CAMP as organized by Felicia..Hope it will be fun..Bye guys!

Hey guys!! Yeah got a satisfied result for my Chinese.. ACJC has 12 students with 7 distinctions and 38 students with 6 distinctions.. It is good of cos... 6 and 7 distinctions is gay la.. Seriously..

Seeing the seniors receiving the results kind of motivated me to work even harder for my studies so I can achieve the best results I can get. I would like to thank my Chinese teacher, Mrs Chee for her teaching! HAHA..

Tmr have scouts..Photo-taking! HAHA...Dunno will have push-up or not..99.9% will have..HAHAH!!

Founder's Day 2009!!

Today is Founder's Day... Yeah went through all the talks and prize presentation.. I think only half the class turned up today..LOL.. After Founder's Day, I went back home as I was waiting for Beng Hong and Kannan to finish their History lesson.. Went to meet Beng at 2.30pm for Sakae Sushi Buffet...Then Kannan joined.. LOL... Went back to Gan Eng Seng School to take the Certificate of Appreciation for peer tutors. Yeah I still like Gan Eng Seng School no matter what..It's my second home... Cheers!

I have come to realise that nothing is impossible; DO the impossible; Impossible is nothing. I am not going to give up halfway and let all our trainings do down to drain. ACTT 09 is no longer a pushover. We as a team will train hard and show our opponents who are the true winners on court. Jiayou ACTT 09! TRAIN HARD GUYS! WE CAN DO IT!

TODAY IS NOT MY DAY....SERIOUSLY...

First up, screwed up my Chemistry test because I misinterpreted the question...That's the worst la...Studied like one mad dog for the test and this is the outcome... Sian..

Second, Nationals draw was out...HCI, NYJC and SRJC...And yes, it's NYJC... My PAE school...My friends, ex-teammates and ex-classmates are all there... How people?!?! My worst nightmare has come true...And that is playing against NYJC... They are strong and my ex-teammates.... Worst lot ever..2 Top4 schools in my group..Best huh? Zhengyi how?

How people? I feel really demoralised....Too demoralised to do anything now...

The girls got damn good lot...RJC, AJC and JJC....Can enter 2nd round de if they train hard...

But but but....How Zhengyi? I really dun want this to happen and it happened.....

Went out to eat with Sultan,Jane,Kede and of cos our dear Beng Hong to celebrate Beng's Birthday! Seoul Garden-ed!!! HAHA...Had much fun man.. We bought a goggle with degree to Beng..Hope she would like it :) Happy 18th Beng!

School... Sianz...Lesson and Lesson!! Celebrated Charms' birthday..OMG I burst Fang's balloon which was for Charms..Sorry Fang and Charmaine! It's my bad! Then went for training..When I was about to start training, then I realised I forgot to bring my beloved wife which is my bat..LOL..In the end, went gym for awhile to train my arms..Then used Elicia's bat to train..Home Sweet Home after that..

Bridge is the most fun card game ever! HAHA..Went home quite early cos I tot I forgot to bring my handphone but in the end found it in my bag when I was on my way home..Blur like sotong..LOL.. Studied Chemistry all the way then slept at 1am?

Scouts! Celebrated Founder's Day.. Did 100 push-ups then had knots competition, sour-grapes(we did 3 times, damn tiring) and finally played water bomb games..HAHA! Dismembered the flag staff was difficult since it was raining.. And yes we were taking the flag staff down when it was raining..Damn man! HAHA...
