Finally! Feb is here! HAHA! ORD LOH! These few weeks have been awesome. Took IPPT with Ziwei 2 weeks back, and both of us maintained a silver.
Joel and I went back to camp yesterday to gym, do FFI and talk cock with camp mates. Later in the night, met up with my JC classmates for dinner at Joe's Kitchen. Food was awesome but the company was better (:

Hey guys! Before I start my first post of year 2012, let me wish u guys a Happy New Year (: I am so sorry for not updating my blog cos I have been busy with shift stuff and training. Let me start things proper. I have handed over my appointment to Gordon in Mid-Dec and he has been doing fine. I believe he can do a better job than me and all the best to him (: Secondly, BM, ZP, Cheryl and I went to Thailand on the 18th. It was awesome and we went on a shopping spee! WAHAHAHA! After we came back, I went back to camp to do duty until now. I was doubling shift work and training for the new specs. It's pretty tiring but yet fun because a training spec is a totally diff stuff for me and it's a very gd experience for me before I ORD! ORD in 2 months! Yay (:

Today is a very special day to me! Yesh it's my Birthday (: My PCs, specs and my guys had celebrated birthday with me! Alpha and Charlie had given me 3 cakes then 8sir celebrated with me with 1 (thanks eugene) for coming back on ur off day to celebrate for me! Then 1am charlie tgt with my new PC, 2LT Han Xiang, Minghui and my guys came to celebrate with a 2kg chocolate cake OMG! Much thanks to the person who bought this cake (: Jason and Joel later came with their McSpicy Cake! Awesome!!!! 5 cakes and 1 McSpicy cake have indeed made my bday in camp a memorable one! Just when I thought my guys would not like me cos I keep scolding them but to my surprise, they actually rmb my bday! So touched!! Shall update more when I got more time and surprises. I have been promoted to 2SG 3 days ago but I was told that my pay would not increase because technically I am still a 3SG. Yeah haizzz. 9 new MP specs came on monday and this batch came to replace Dewei's batch. I guess I will really miss them because we have been tgt for 10 months and seeing them ORD-ing in 2 mths' time realli makes me happy for them. Just came back from PS course and hell yeah i've survived! Had 4D 3N field camp from mon till thurs. It wasnt easy at all since I haven been out in the field for almost 10mths. Made lots of friends like Riaz, Jiawei, Raymond, William, Guo Dong and Jun yang. Awesome section mates who gave me a helping hand whenever I was in trouble understanding abt the mission stuff. Having to stay in ASTW for these 2 weeks tgt with the Cadets who passed out today brought me alot of memories when I was a cadet myself. I have suffered heat rash which is super bad from the field camp and I believe my course mates got it as well. haha! Going back to Tengah for duty next week and here we go again! Jiayou Zhengyi (: U can do it cos U are a Warfighter! With Pride We Lead!

Hi guys 2 more days to National Day but sadly I will be doing duty in camp ): sad ahaha last year I was doing guard duty in Sispec now Im doin the same thing just that im doing at tengah lol! Friday night I went out with Zhao Peng Angeline and Cheryl after gyming with jiarong in the afternoon. We went to Timbre Substation to watch 53a. They are like awesome man! Sat i spent the whole day at home to tidy my room and my study table hahas. Today I went out with parents to have breakfast at Amoy Street and then played basketball with Teck Seng and friends. Now preparing to book in sian ttm! Anw I have passed my FTT!! Now looking for instructors to teach me how to drive woots! See ya guys!

Went to their chalet ytd night after duty. It was great the food the people the drinks wahahaha. 3th June: Went out to watch xmen with tavin and mel. A great show indeed! hahaha worth ur time and money to watch definitely! Went to mel's house at night to watch tennis! Fed won Djovovik! This is a silver bayonet awarded to me during my professional term back in dec b4 I POP from sispec. I rmb telling kok how much I wanted this to prove that I am a capable leader as well as a follower. After much support from my course mates and overcoming the difficulty of getting out of my comfort zone, I had achieved this. However, these past few months as a spec, many events had happened that led me to question my capabilities and leadership. Endured thru all these were not easy and I am truly tired. Received this breaking news from my PC ytd evening. Packed up my stuff and left tengah airbase after surrendering my camp pass to LT JJ. Mixed feelings I must say. Like what I have wrote on my facebook, this place has given me bad memories however, it is the people here whom I had worked with that made my stay here enjoyable. Even though I have ended up in trouble quite a number of times, I have not regretted my stay here. I have wonderful PCs, specs as well as my beloved troopers. Im truely touched by the comments and concern shown by my friends and NS friends alike on facebook :) Last but not least I thank you guys for everything and I'll do my best in everything I do and move on with life as a combat medic! hahaha. I will nvr forget the period 14 Feb 2011 - 23 Feb 2011. It was torturous defintely but let bygones be bygones..

Went back ACJC with Cheryl Keng Hwee and Yixian today and it was great (: Ate AC's food, had a little chit chat with Mrs Wendy Lim, Mdm Loh and Mdm Chee. Glad to see them doing fine. Went shopping with Cheryl and Keng Hwee at Orchard while xian gotta go Chinatown for facial lol. Cheryl bought a pair of sandals! haha! We went G2000 to buy my stuff for Founder's Day this coming Monday. I bought a long-sleeved shirt, a polo tee, a belt and a tie. Thank you Keng Hwee and Cheryl for giving me opinions haha!

After that I went to watch Unknown with Zheng Yee and Vivocity. It was a pretty okay show worth watching la hahaha! After that home sweet home!

Congrats to those who had just commissioned last Sat! After 9 months of training, finally u guys have become 2LT! haha! I came back from duty ytd and was dead tired. Woke up this morning and went for a run at ard 12 plus. After running, I went to buy lunch and a cup of fruit juice. While I was waiting at the stall, I became so dizzy that I could not stand on my 2 feet and just blacked out. Struggling to regain my consciousness and I heard the aunties and uncles who were helping me up asking, "are u alright?" I found myself tripped over baskets of vegetables and fruits and lying on top of it. Siao. I was like what happened?!?! I sat on a chair as instructed by the auntie and rested for abt 5mins b4 I stood up to help the fruit stall uncle to put back his stuff. Kept apologising to them for the inconvience caused. Dunno what happened to me but it is indeed a very scary experience...

It's 2011! Time really flies and I must say 2011 has been a wonderful year for me! On the eve of 2010, booked at 8pm, met my gang at 9pm at clarke quay to have dinner and headed to esplanade to watch the fireworks at 0000hr. It was magnificent! After everything, we walked to Zheng Yee's house to play monopoly deal. lol. at around 0300hrs, Angeline Peng n Angeline went home while i stayed at his house to sleep. New Year went out with chi jie ryan and dennis. Watched tourist (okay movie only) and played pool then lan. haha ryan drove us home thanks dude. Today marks the start of my shift and hopefully it will be smooth (:

Wah zoooom and 2010 is comin to an end. 2010 has marked my many first times. Ranging from my first employment to NTUC(was selling mandarin oranges from jan to feb 2010), my first official interview with NTU professors for my scholarship(May 2010), my enlistment to the army(28 April 2010), my first 10km run (September 2010) and many more. I guess it will be a memorable year for me and hopefully 2011 will be a even better year :) Im on leave from tue to today and tmr has to book in. Abit sian but no choice haha. Ytd was my birthday and also my out-processing day. Got posted to Air Force. So gotta to report in mon morning to Paya Lebar Air Base. lol! I got presents from my beloved bunk mates who gave me condoms and underwear. LOL right? lol! Thanks anw. 32km Route March on Tue night or should I say ," March of the Infantry Pride" haha! I was the front scout though and it was super tiring. But nevertheless, I had survived and had gotten my CSB badge! ha! Today went out with Daniel Zach Weiyuan and Joseph. Had carl's junior for lunch at vivo and Social Network for movie. It was pretty cool so it's worth it to watch! haha! They bought me a shirt from Topman for birthday present too! Thank you guys!

Had supposedly "28km" route march on tue night but it became 34km instead. Started at 8.30pm and ended ar 6.30am the next day. It was hell during the march cos our WO din realli let us rest. Marched for 8-10km then rest. LOL! siao one. Everyone was like damn tired. But nevertheless, no one fell out and everyone completed the march (: woots. Rmb 8 weeks ago when I had my POP from BMTC, I was overjoyed that bmt was finally coming to an end. Bidding farewell with my section mates, my section commanders and platoon mates was unforgettable. 8 weeks later, by right I should feel the same way. I wonder is it my failure to clear the SOC test twice this week affected my mood in one way or the other? Really depressed this morning when I was with my bunk mates. Sorry guys couldn't hide my emotions. I have always set high expectations of myself including my physical capability even though it has always been my weakest link. I do not want to fail SOC despite the fact that for now, it wun affect my posting result. However, in the near future i will still have to clear it in order to get my rank. Disappointment dawned on me this entire day though many ppl especially Sin Hua, Yong Jing and Weili had given me much encouragement and I would like to thank you guys. I shall work harder next time and conquer SOC! Next week we gonna to have 28km route march from 10pm to 6-7am the next morning. Shag but it's the last event we as a company are going to work tgt. I will miss Mike Coy though it's manangement kinda poor. Nevetheless, all the best to liuliu next week. Anw gotta book in tmr night cos sun I'm the COS. lol!

Inception is really an awesome movie and I will not give a second thought to watch it for the 2nd time. It's talking abt how Dominic Cobb (Leonardo) who works to extract people's dreams. Extractors and their victims sleep in close proximity to one another, connected by a device that administers a sedative and shared a dream world built on their mental projections. In the dream world, pain is psychologically experienced as real, but death results in awakening(credits to wiki). He was tasked to plant a new idea into another person's mind (this process is called inception) in exchange for his freedom. I must say this is a very intellectual and action pack movie that u guys out there should not miss. My rating for this movie? definitely more than 4.5/5. It's really damn cool and I bet u wun regret watching it. Yesterday was SCS's Sports Day. My team won 3rd in tug-o-war. lol! Next week outfield and field camp. haha gonna to be a tiring week ahead and I shall endure! Ippt n soc next week too. Yeah I am posted to SCS a.k.a. Specialist Cadet School. Disappointed? It's a lie if I say i'm not. Yeah I was aiming for OCS but I'm not sad that I'm posted to SCS cos I still get to lead others and see my bmt mates. However, while I was bathing just now, I recalled what Yong Kok told me during Jobweek, "Zhengyi, the leaders and I think that you will eventually make it to OCS." I questioned, " why?" He replied, " cos we believed you got the capabilty and u "up" also mah" People may question how come I still rmb what yk said but what he said to me has impacted me greatly and allowed me to strive for the best in BMT and everything I do. I will not say I have disappointed the leaders nor myself. I see SCS as another platform for me to perform and stretch my potential to the max. Like wad prash had told me this morning, " Have faith in yourself!" Many possible reasons y i'm not chosen for ocs. After 10 weeks of BMT, Recruit Liu has become Private Liu! hohoh! PO-PO-P! After 20km route march(supposedly 24km but got CAT 1 a.k.a thunderstorm), went back to coy line to bath and we had parade. This is my 100th post yeah! Yup i'm back from the highlight of BMT and is feeling the tireness. After field camp, I had rt until 2045 yesterday and reached home at 2200. Poor me. lol! no time to rest sia sian! hahaha! but field camp is indeed a memorable experience for me and i believe many ppl will not forget the dirtiness and shagness during field camp. These few days were torturous though it was the last few days of my freedom. Was hoping to be preoccupied with smth and it would soon come = army! Fell sick yesterday and wasn't able to swim nor dinner with friends. However, I felt better today after running! Maybe it was the sweat. Went Taiwan with Sharry, Syna, Pin Li, BM, ZP, Heng Yi, Cheryl, Sin Yee, Jaslyn, her Mum and Bro, Casper and his Dad. It was really a memorable trip and let me say, u will defintely gain at least 5kg after the trip. ZP gained like 7 kg on the third day. lol! We reached Tao Yuan at 5.30pm and we met Ah Liang, our tour guide. He was hilarious and definitely a boost to our morale for the trip. Went to Tai Dong for the first few days and it was so nice! The Pacific Ocean was ike OMG! Went to the Tropic of Cancer(imaginary line separating the temperate and tropical regions) and SPA! haha! Theme Park for the fourth day(i tink) and the rollercoaster was wow! Bought many things on our way back to Taipei. Food was in bulk quantity. Crazy! haha! Reached Singapore on 10 April after bidding farewell to our bus driver and Ah Liang. Sadded lol cos had to leave Taiwan! Haizz.. But gd things eventually will come to an end so no choice! HA! I'm going to Taiwan on Sat for a week with ZP, BM, Casper and some of my sec sch mates. Excited! hahaha! The last time I went overseas was probably 4 years ago? Will be back at home by 10th April so guys dun miss me! Army on 28th April ha! And most of my friends are passing out a.k.a POP on 9th April. Jealous! haha! Had quite a no. of gatherings with sec sch friends as well as my SA9 mates for the past week. Fun-o-rama XX was okay but the mechandise were insanly ex. 1 normal fun-o-rama shirt for 25 bucks and limited edition shirt for 50? siao! It was 10 n 30 respectively during my time. So in the end, I din buy anything as I sold my tickets to Beng who bought a $40 Polo Tee. LOL! Alright guys that's abt all for today!

Tue after driving, went to Buona Vista CC to play bb with CR and Kerong. Due to my laziness when I was working as I refused to exercise, I got owned while playing. hahaha! I would like to thank Samantha and my committee members for making this jobweek camp 2010 a success! though i have been feeling very gulity for not fulfilling my duty as co-chairman due to my busy schedule, Sam has been helping me alot and told me wad to do and wads not. so thank you SAM! Jobweek earnings is pretty decent and i'm sure the PLC 09/10 will know wad i mean. lol!

Went to Xiao's concert on Sat night and there is only one word to describe, " Power!" haha! Xiao's live was like WOW! I would like to go again if he holds another concert in SG!

Yesterday Prash told me i should consider other courses such as med, law or dentistry since i can make it to these courses. He said, "u should try other courses besides engineering or business or accountancy." Haiz.. Seriously dunno man. lol! Maybe I shall apply for engineering first and maybe if i change my mind, i got 2 years to decide.

I was completely taken aback when i got back my results. Wasn't expecting anything like this. Yeah I can say that i'm indeed very lucky. Congrats for those who did well but for those who did not, dun fret and move on with life. I believe we can do better next time, the next stage of life.. A Level result coming out soon! scared! haha! Anw, i passed my btt and gotten my PDL! ha! Went for NTU talk with Keng Hwee and Liting yesterday. Reached Suntec at around 3 plus and met up with Keng Hwee. Did some catching up and bought bubble tea while waiting for the lecture at 4pm. It was for engineering and later on Liting joined. Next lecture was for business and accountancy. It was pretty cool i guess. I guess i'm game for environmental engineeering provided if i can make it. Oranges business has been great but doc orange has fallen sick today and had to rest at home. Sorry BK, cant make it to work today. I miss my JC class!

10 more days to Lunar Chinese New Year! Excited! Cos this will mark the end of my mandarin orange business which is quite crap and sian. Met some stuck-up customers who wanted to find flawless ping-pong ball-like oranges and it's IMPOSSIBLE! aiya enough said. it's really nuts. I also realised something. I cant believe ntuc staffs can be so political as well. They kept stabbing each other on the back and stuff. I seriously got nth to say abt this cos they are already so old like in their 40s, 50s and 60s. Starting from today, I will have to work for 12 hrs. That also means i have to stand for 12 hrs. hahaha! my legs are hurting like mad now. lol! Hope tmr will be a better day!

Yup booked xiao's ticket online with my sis. His concert is on 10th March (heng i'm enlisting later) haha!! I'm so happy!! Finally got to see him in person! go Xiao xiao!!! Work has been real tiring due to pre-CNY. Has been working 10 hrs each day. the worst part, I haven't gotten my pay yet! haha! I want to get a PSP! anyone who wants to sell his psp or got lobang for modified psp, pls tell me! haha!

Today is my off day so here i am to blog! haha! i got my xiao's CD, Love Moments, from Flo yesterday. Thanks Flo! Met her outside Singapore General Hospital's Bloodbank and yup she wanted to donate blood. LOL! Anyways, Xiao is the best seriously! Got all his 3 albums! Not pirated alright! haha! He's coming to Singapore for concert soon and I shall catch it! haha!

Hi guys! I'm here to blog again! Here's a summary of what I did over the past few days!

Thurs, 14 Jan: Went to Raffles Place MRT station to distribute newsletters from 1145 to 1345 and earned $21. Woohoo! At around 2.30pm, I reached ACJC. Bought Fun-O-Rama ticket from Madam and chatted with her for around 30 mins. I felt very comfortable talking to Madam that day and I had no idea why. Maybe it's cos our relationship is no longer student and teacher but more of friend and friend. Talked bout lots of things. AND AND AND I met Miss Sng outside the canteen and started to talk like nobody's business again! haha! great catching up session! Went for training after that. Trained the J2s and played match with the new teacher-in-charge, Mr Foo and Presley. After training, I went to Suntec to meet up with Weiyuan, Yixian, Clarence, Keng Hwee, Cheryl, Faith, Jolyn, Liting, Clarence and Joseph for dinner. It was another great catching up session! hahaha! Then home sweet home.

Friday, 15 Jan: Again went to Raffles Place MRT to distribute newsletters but this time with Liting and Faith. What happened next can be seen from my previous post! ha!

Saturday, 16 Jan: Went back to Gan Eng Seng School for scouts to help CL with test-taking. Taught some scouts Knots 2. (lucky i still rmb how to tie). Shun Hui came down too. Nice! After scouts, went to Bugis to meet up with old friends,4F'07. Had sushi for lunch and went on to play pool. At around 9pm, went to play lan with Shang Xuan, Wen Rong, Eng Tuan, Jiarong and Bernice. Yep u have guessed it right, we played Left 4 Dead 2. LOL! then home sweet home

Sunday, 17 Jan: Had my very first tuition session with my tutee. It wasn't easy at all cos I have to show a lot of patience with him without getting angry. LOL. But overall still alright! haha! A good start I muz say! ha!

Hi guys just got back from Bukit Batok Driving Centre, and yup I booked my BTT which is on 25th Feb. LOL! Before this, I went to distribute newsletter with Faith and Liting at Raffles Place. Earned 42 bucks! hehe! At around 2pm, Liting and I went to sit along the Singapore River and chatted for quite awhile. Great catching up session! LOL! Events that are goin to unfold are Sunday: giving tuition to a Sec 3 kid. Monday and onwards: Working at NTUC! Surprised?!?! My classmates were like, "what?!?!" haha! Since it's near my house, so why not? HA! Alright bye guys!

Scouts Ventures Rovers

Congrats to Zheng Yee on being officially known as a Venture and of cos to our President Scout Award recipent, Mr Yeo Choon Lian who was also the SPL 06/07 on being promoted to Rover. Yesterday was the Recruitment Day for Sec 1 and I believe it was a great success. Everyone had worked hard and definitely they deserve a break. After Recruitment, the Rover Crew went down to Aloha Loyang chalet for a Rover Meeting. Yup we went there juz for a meeting though the Leaders wanted us to bbq and chill first. However, we decided to carry out the meeting first. Lots of Rovers stuff were discussed and i think it's kinda complicated to comment on the outcome of the meeting but i guess the rovers should have their own way of thinkin juz like what Wen Li had said during the meeting that we are adults who can make our own decisons. Meeting lasted till 1 plus am then SX's dad came to fetch us home. Thank you!

Today is my rest day and I just hope to slack. Anw i got a tuition job which starts on next Sunday. Jiayou!

2010!! 10 years after year 2000. Damn fast right? haha! went to watch Sherlock Holmes at 1mpm yesterday with Chang Run, Kannan, Yongli, Eugene and Kede. It was a funny and awesome movie. Definitely worth watching!

十月圍城 Bodyguards and Assassins

Went out with family to watch this movie. It was great! ha! alright shall give a brief intro to this movie to ppl who read my blog. LOL! Sun Yat Sen who is the Father of Modern China, came to Hong Kong from exile to carry out a meeting with the leaders of the provinces of China which were involved in the Revolution in Oct 1905. However, the Qing Empress Cixi gave an order to assassinate Sun as the Revolution was an attempt to overthrow the Qing Empire. In order to allow Sun to successfully reach Hong Kong and carry out the meeting, many followers as well as people who did not even know who they were protecting for, sacrificed themselves. In the end, many people died from the assassination, however, the meeting was a success and eventually after 6 years, there were many uprisings in the provinces occuring at the same time(the plot strategised at the meeting) and on 10th Oct 1911 (for those who took History should know this is a.k.a. the Double Tenth), the ineffcient and corrupted Qing Empire fell.

Not bad right! Sounds interesting! go catch it!

The play that we watched!

Merry merry christmas!!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Just came back from Cheryl's house. Yesterday went to eat at Siam Kitchen with Zheng Yee, Cheryl, Carmel, Angeline, Zhao Peng, Yichun, Safwan then we head to watch a play at Singapore Indoor Stadium for free (credits to ZP and Mel) ha! Saw Siew Huai and her boyfriend. The Play was pretty cool and the performers were awesome! Enjoyed myself totally! After the play, mel headed home and yichun sent her home after our mini countdown to Christmas..LOL! Rest of us went to play pool at Queensway. Then Cheryl's mum fetched us to Cheryl's house and prepared food for us to eat. Nice hor? Went on to play Left 4 Dead on Cheryl's computer. Damn fun! Addicted to it!

Going out later with family to watch Body Guards and Assassins. Hope it will be nice movie! Alright bye guys!

now friends having prom but i din go la. LOL. anw, played basketball with scouts for 3.5 hrs. Fierce. gd exercise though. Then went out with Hpyo, Ryan, Kok Soon and Meixian sort of a mini TT outing. LOL! Dennis went out with gf instead of joining. Dennis Li! got gf ignore friends already. LOL! Had Pizza Hut and pool for an hour then home sweet home.

Life's pretty bored for me now. But i got a tuition job which is probably starting in Jan or late Dec. But life now is really... ha! still got 5 months! Arggg!

Went out to exercise today! Like FINALLY!

Went out with Choon Lian,Eng Tuan, Shang Xuan, Zhi Long, Joshua, Wen Rong and Bin Ming to play badminton. LOL. For around 2 hours and it was crazy. Eng Tuan is the man, he's just too good. lol. Good exercise!

I have been thinking alot lately. Will 2SA9 just split up into cliques after A Levels and not meet up as a class again? I want to our class to come together again and have fun! Hint* Hint* for an outing soon! HA!

As for table tennis, I will go back training soon, preferably next week. I want to start an alumni for table tennis hopefully. Great aspiration though. LOL.

Scouts: HA shall go back to help soon too! HA!

Oh man... Finally it is over! Had my last paper today and it was fine I guess. HA! 2 years of hard work... Went out with JRL in the evening at Vivocity and it was fun. I guess everyone's a joke! HA! But I got a problem now after As, that is i got nothing to do!!! Gotta to find a job soon preferably giving tuition. So anyone got any offer? HA!
